In diesem Workshop beginnen wir mit einem Warm-up, das auf Social Steps basiert, um die richtige Stimmung für den Workshop zu schaffen. Dann wird gemeinsam mit Timna die Waacking-Technik und die grundlegenden Konzepte, wie Drills, Lines, Poses und mehr, als Grundlage für unser Waacking geübt. In der zweiten Hälfte des Workshops werden wir eine Choreographie erarbeiten, die sich auf den Performance-Aspekt des Waacking konzentriert. Der Workshop gibt dir einen Einblick in die verschiedenen Elemente von Waacking und du bekommst die Chance, alles in einer Beginner-freundlichen Waacking-Choreographie zusammenzufügen. Für erfahrene Waackers werden zusätzliche Herausforderungen eingebaut.

In this workshop we will start with an warm up based on Social Steps to set the right mood for the workshop. Then together with Timna you will cover Waacking technique and basic concepts such as Drills, Lines, Poses etc. as our Waacking foundation. In the second half of the workshop we will work on a choreography focussing on the performance aspect of Waacking. The workshop will give you an insight into different elements of Waacking and you get the chance to put it all together in a beginner-friendly Waacking choreo. For more experienced Waackers a few additional challenges will be added!

Timna Reisenbergers tänzerische Reise begann als Teenager mit dem Schwerpunkt auf Gesellschaftstänzen und führte sie zu Jazz- und Commercial-Kursen, bis sie 2020 Waacking und die Freestyle-Tanzszene entdeckte. Seitdem hat sie sich intensiv mit Clubtanzstilen wie Waacking, House und Hustle auseinandergesetzt. Sie ist ein aktives Mitglied in der Waacking Linz Community und Mitbegründerin des Club Dance Collective Linz. Neben dem Tanzen trägt sie zur Community bei, indem sie Events organisiert - von kleinen Treffen wie monatlichen Jams bis hin zum Waacking & House Event „Clubsandwich“.

Timna Reisenberger’s dance journey has started as a teenager with a focus on ballroom dances, took her to Jazz and Commercial classes until she discovered Waacking and the freestyle dance scene in 2020. Since then she has taken a deep dive into Club Dance Styles such as Waacking, House and Hustle. She’s an active member in the Waacking Linz community and co-founder of the Club Dance Collective Linz. Next to dancing she contributes to the community by organising events - from small Get-togethers like monthly Jams to the Waacking & House event “Clubsandwich”.
