REDSPATA Kulturinitiative is looking for RESIDENCIES for the year 2025 presented at the Sonnenstein Loft. The call out is focused on the field of dance. Exceptions are made on multidisciplinary projects including the body as a medium.

What to expect :
The selected artist will be supported by studio space (52sqm-180sqm) for an approx. 2 weeks residency period in the SonnensteinLOFT. The implementation of the residency can be done at once (main studio availability is daily 09am-5pm, changes may apply) or stretched out between the period of 2 months (separate agreement). The exact schedule will be tailored to each selected artist/group depending on studio availability at a given residency period.Â
The residency is focused entirely on supporting artists having a working space. The residency artists are encouraged to independently search for further fundings for travel costs, per diems, artist fee, accommodation and further technical/production budget.Â
The resident artists are invited to hold either a work-in-progress studio showing of the work or perform the full piece at given performance events. A performance is optional, and does not influence the selection process.
