Arno arbeitet an der Schnittstelle von Kunst, Geistes-/Sozialwissenschaften und Kultur auf der Suche nach Veränderungen hin zu inklusiven Gesellschaften. Er lehrt an verschiedenen Universitäten und führt künstlerische Projekte durch. Dabei nutzt Arno den queeren Tango als künstlerisches Ausdrucksmittel und für aktivistische Zwecke; das letzte Projekt wurde im Mai 2024 im Künstlerhaus Wien mit dem partizipativen Kunstkollektiv lxs hermanxs realisiert.

Arno works on the threshold between arts, humanities/social sciences and culture in search of transformation towards inclusive societies. Arno teaches at different universities and realizes artistic projects. There, Arno uses queer tango as instrument in form of artistic expression and for activist purposes; the last project has been realized in may 2024 at Künstlerhaus Wien with the participatory art collective lxs hermanxs.
