GUEST: "Time for Dreams" - music theater spectacle

"Time for dreams"is a spectacle that combines music, theater and poetry. 

On February 10, 2024 at 7 p.m. in the Sonnenstein Loft in Linz, viewers are invited to experience a unique performance that captures the spirit of Bulgaria - a spectacle full of romance and nostalgia that takes us back to the time of our childhood dreams.

Alice and Catherine are friends from school. They spend wonderful years together, dreaming of an artistic career and the stage. Over time, their paths diverged and everyday life completely replaced their dreams without them noticing. Only their diaries preserve what was once in their souls.

In their mid-thirties, with successful careers that they don't really love, they both finally admit to each other that they're really tired of pretending to be happy. A spontaneous vacation brings them together for a whole week, after more than 15 years. By chance, they hear about a local festival and decide to prepare a short program to take part in it. Memories of favorite songs, arias and poems bring back the magic, and each of them understands why childhood dreams should not be abandoned even when you become an adult.

The spectacle will feature Bulgarian and international music - pop songs, arias from musicals, folklore, as well as great Bulgarian poetry.

The roles of Alice and Catherine are played by:

Gergana Borislavova (Alice), opera singer

She graduated from the National Music Academy and worked for many years at various opera houses in Germany. She is currently teaching singing in Sofia, Bulgaria.

She graduated from the National Academy of Music and is the founder and artistic director of the "Art is..." festival in Bulgaria.

• The aim of the event is to bring Bulgarian culture closer to viewers and make it accessible to viewers through music and poetry
