WHERE DOES IT HURT?

We are Eszter Mórocz and Kinga Szemessy, two Hungarian dancers who are also trained in various massage techniques (Swedish, Thai, Aquasoma, etc.). As part of our Redsapata residency at Sonnenstein Loft, we have created a performance that combines the characteristics of a body treatment and object-oriented choreography.

Two recipients receive a free relaxing massage in exchange for talking about where and what hurts them at the moment. We explore the boundaries of this unique participatory state: being vulnerable and at someone's mercy while fully trusting the one in charge.

Open sharing (a two-to-two session with an audience) 4:00-5:00 p.m

Two individuals simultaneously partake in a 45-minute performative massage treatment with the presence of an audience.
