"The craftly uncanniness behind the semblance of things" is a solo dance that speaks in the imagery of darkness as the stage in which the ego is confronted with the weight of its earthliness and alienation to the self, but also with an intimate and deep force, the will to exist and act in this world. I question our relationship to the (in)visible, how places of friction and struggle often isolate us from our own selves and everything else until we find ways of liberating the body and its memory from preoccupying assumptions and habits. I am engaging in the practice of a sensual body, attempting to open pathways to an emotionally rich and magical encounter with life.
