The Sunday performances give passionate dance enthusiasts the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of professional dance artists. Who are these highly trained creatures who bend and twist as if there were no tomorrow? Who kiss away the Sunday pain with magical movements?

Meet the artists during the day in the workshops, where they will take you into their secret worlds of creativity and inspire you with their unique approach to art, dance and choreography. In the evening, the artists will present their latest creations in an atmospheric setting where not only the heat of art but also the breeze of the evening will carry you through the cold and stormy Sunday nights.

The beginning of this residency was to show the richness of the movement of the hips, to explore the extraordinary natural mobility of the hips and to redirect their movement as a sometimes misinterpreted attribute. As a reference, I wanted to analyze the folkloric dances of cumbia and bullerengue, which use the accent of the hips to mark their rhythms. On the other hand, I wanted to include a musical composition as a dramaturgy, which should evoke a reflection on the fact that there are no absolute truths in cultures and that they are in fact constantly intertwined and embraced, that the movement does not belong to certain genres or must be danced in a certain way.

After that I came up with certain questions:

What is my earliest memory of enjoying dance? What is the beginning of my dancing?
