Meet the artists in the workshops during the day, where they will take you into their secret worlds of creativity and inspire you with their unique approach to art, dance and choreography. In the evening, the artists present their latest creations in an atmospheric setting.

Workshop on the production "Dimensions of ReLATion+ships" / Mirjam Stadler

Level: Open Level

Relationship and interaction - these are the main topics we will deal with in the workshop. We deal with the different types of contact, with our environment and with ourselves - in touch, in movement, in dance or in silence.

Together we explore the different effects of closeness and distance, of different forms and dimensions of contact (with and without physical contact) as well as of reacting and communicating to one another. We deal with questions like:

• howcan I get in contact/relationship with people and their bodies, with the environment or with myself?
• By whichcan I get in contact/relationship?
• How can I communicate?
• How does this relating affect or change my body, my movement, my perception – my being?
• What reactions are triggered in me?
• How do the characteristics of a relationship/connection change over time automatically or when the context changes?
• Under what circumstances do I take control of a relationship and when do I relinquish that control? To whom or what do I give control: to my counterpart or to the situation?

In this production we deal with relationships and connections in different contexts. We express the varied forms and dimensions of relationships in an artistic exploration and make them tangible for the viewer.

Relationships are essential to our mental and physical health. As social beings, we depend on them and strive for exchange and connection.

Throughout our lives we constantly move in a changing network of relationships and connections, which often also determine and influence each other: relationships with other people, but also with other living beings, with material things, as well as with ourselves.

Meet the artists during the day at the workshops, where they will share with you their secret worlds of creativity, guiding you through their unique ways of approaching movement and choreography. At night the artists will present their recent creations in an atmospheric performance setting.
