"Gravity & Momentum brings physics and dance together. In a conventional way, physics is usually
presented using equations, graphs, and words. This project presents physics in an unconventional way
way - movements."
Yuki and Kieran met during their MA Dance Performance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. After graduation, Yuki started creating and touring her own work including 7 different stages/choreographies of On The Other Side《彼岸》, 2 stages/choreographies of “Normal”, and R&D of “i”, alongside with other commissioned works as a choreographer and dance artist. Kieran has been a core creative member in many of Yuki's works since then, while at the same time performing with other companies and choreographers. With this residency, the duo will explore for the first time a brand new piece “Gravity & Momentum”, putting physics and dance together.
