404 Not Found is a solo dance performance that imagines a future scenario where an artificial intelligence loses access to all its training data (movement libraries, emotional expression, cultural memory) and must “remember” how to move, how to feel, and how to be human again. The piece is a speculative fiction told through the body. The performer becomes a vessel for this data-fractured AI, glitching through incomplete phrases, broken gestures, and lost patterns. Over time, it begins reconstructing identity and embodiment through new, emergent forms of movement - raw, strange, and personal.
This work responds directly to the theme of AI as both tool and subject. The artificial intelligence in this piece is not just used for choreography generation, but also forms the emotional and conceptual core of the performance. The body becomes a stage for…
